“I had a lot of doubts and fears, but she helped me tap confidence and gumption I didn't know I had.”

Buying my first home was a very emotional experience. I had worked with a couple of other realtors before Amy but was always left feeling like I didn't have what it takes to buy in such a competitive market. The first time I talked to Amy I felt like she paid real attention to what I wanted and challenged me to really consider my priorities. Over several months, Amy guided me through the process of picking and bidding on property, day and night, telling me directly what I needed to hear to keep me going. I had a lot of doubts and fears but she helped me tap confidence and gumption I didn't know I had. As a single woman, I am so incredibly thankful that I found Amy. Without her, I'm sure I would still be house hunting and likely would be priced out of the market. Instead, I'm the first woman on both sides of my family to own my own home, by myself. I cannot express how strong that makes me feel and I owe so much of that to her.

“Her advice probably made the difference between getting the place and not.”

Amy is fantastic. She is responsive, frank, opinionated (so important!), knowledgable, and has a great sense of humor. She hung in there with my husband and I for two years while we searched for the perfect home in the East Bay, helping us to navigate new territory (we'd been in SF for 10 years) and narrow in on the right community for us. We closed on an amazing house in Alameda in March of this year, and her advice probably made the difference between getting the place and not. What more can you ask for?

“It felt like she knew my tastes better than I knew them myself.”

My girlfriend and I met Amy at one of her open houses and immediately knew we wanted to work with her. She is smart, honest, and direct, but still caring and fun.

Amy taught us a lot about the home buying process and basically held us by the hand and guided us through every step. She accommodated our schedules and worked with us late nights, early mornings, and weekends. And maybe most importantly, she really picked up on our needs, wants, and aesthetic almost immediately. She suggested places that I thought I'd hate, but I ended up loving. And she warned me about some places which I thought I'd like...but she was spot-on and they weren't what I was looking for. After the first two or three times she proved me wrong, I began trusting her. After a month, it felt like she knew my tastes better than I knew them myself.

Ultimately, Amy managed to get us into a killer loft space and even brought us pizza when we were moving in. Who does that?!?

“She answered our myriad questions so quickly I wondered if she ever slept.”

Entering the Bay Area real estate market can be a nerve-wracking endeavor, but the best decision we made when we took the plunge was choosing Amy. She worked tirelessly as an educator for us as first-time buyers, helping us discover new neighborhoods and navigate the mass of paperwork that is the offer process. She was also an invaluable advocate for us, helping us secure a loan and getting the seller to cover thousands of dollars worth of repairs when we did buy. The result is that we have a home that we love, and if we ever decide to sell it, Amy will be the first person we call.

“Amy is very detail oriented and nothing gets by her!”

She worked tirelessly to find resources and help me prepare for the sale of my home. She knows the area and the resources in it. She made herself available for advice and help. She went out of her way many times to make the process easier for me. She is honest and direct. She kept me informed at every step, answered any questions, and supported me throughout the whole process, which often looked overwhelming. I loved working with her and recommend her highly to anyone with no reservations.

“Amy is golden, just like the East Bay hills in summer.”

Amy Robeson is a professional. She knows the business and the markets of real estate throughout the east bay. She makes introductions while coordinating and communicating to lead smooth, successful transactions. Amy walked us through all aspects of the sale of our condo, with a great result. Also, she located our new house and handled our purchase. She is easy to work with and has a great personality. We trust her insight and opinions. When we sell and buy again, Amy is who we will call.

“Because of her hard work, connections, and savvy, we are the proud owners of our dream house...”

Working with Amy was a great experience. She held our hands through the whole process, giving tons of information, answering any questions, and going above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable about what we were seeing and doing. When we first started the house hunt Amy took time to drive us around potential neighborhoods, exploring different kinds of properties within our price range. Amy was realistic about budgeting, not only for initial costs, but looking into future repairs and needs, and was sensitive about not pushing us beyond our means.

Once we found our house, Amy went into overdrive to guide us through a bidding frenzy, inspections, unexpected issues with the owners, and a million other things. She pushed for the things we wanted and needed and balanced me and my crazy family as we called an emailed her daily.

Overall Amy was a pleasure to work with and the reason we are so happily housed. I would (and have already) recommend Amy to anyone looking for a realtor that is personable, knowledgeable, and gets the job done.

“Aside from being friendly and easy to work with, Amy is a total pro...”

Amy made being a first-time home buyer in a truly crazy market much less stressful than it had to be. She took the time to get to know us, and to educate us along the way, so we understood each step of the process. ...[W]hen it comes time to sell our house or buy another, I would absolutely call her again, in a heartbeat.

“Astute, well connected, hard working...”

She made what would have been impossible for a disabled senior a breeze! She was there with hand holding and support through the whole process. She found people to help with the move and sold my home in record time. She is very astute and figured out what I needed in the way of support every step of the way. She is professional, ethical, and fun! Completely trustworthy!  I see her online at 6 AM telling people what is missing, what is needed, making corrections, and planning for the next step!

I can't thank you enough, Amy!

“Amy was fantastic in helping us buy our first house.”

She worked within our somewhat limited parameters and did a great job of finding us options in our price range in Berkeley.

Not only did she tolerate our young children during the many meetings we had, but she was genuinely charming and affable with them the whole time.

Amy was knowledgeable in all aspects of the home buying experience from start to finish, and I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a home in the area. Hopefully we will never have to buy another home, but if we did, Amy would be our first choice as an agent. For reals.
