About Us

As dedicated and experienced real estate professionals we understand that clear communication is essential to low stress and desired results. When you partner with us, you’ll be well-informed on all aspects of your transaction. If you are entering the real estate market for the first time, we’ll break down the process, explain real estate lingo, financial terminology, and help you discover that perfect neighborhood. Perhaps you've already bought and sold homes and are looking for an upgraded experience. We will be there with a fresh perspective and keep things humming along smoothly.

We exclusively practice in the East Bay, so if you’re looking beyond our region, we can connect you to our vast network of quality agents throughout the country.

About Amy

I’ve been a realtor since 2003 when I transitioned from my prior profession in wine sales and marketing. My extensive experience in customer service based industries ingrained in me skills that are essential for success. I’m an attentive listener and perpetual list maker. I’m naturally curious, observant, and persistent. I’m consistently one of the top producers at my brokerage, and I enjoy applying my experience to guide my clients through an ever-changing market.

I’ve attended hundreds (and hundreds) of inspections and have seen a LOT, which helps me quickly assess potential issues and suggest professionals for the right course of action. As a homeowner, I’ve tackled many of my own remodeling projects, and as a realtor, I’ve been involved in dozens more. I know that not everyone wants to be a designer or contractor, so I keep an extensive list of top-flight professionals at the ready, from electricians and repair people to stagers and movers.

I’m passionate about maintaining a sterling code of conduct, and I’ve been on our MLS’s ethics and professional standards committee for years.

I grew up in Northern Minnesota, where my mom still maintains a stunning half-acre vegetable garden. In comparison, my edible garden is “charming”  (Realtor speak for modest). Between the garden, cooking, and keeping a few chickens, my hands are never idle. Yes, I make sourdough and I ferment—I am that person.

I’m also one of those obnoxiously happy morning people that pop out of bed, ready to seize the day. I love an early morning hike and know all the trails and get out on them every chance I get. I’m always amazed at how far a good pair of shoes can take you, and when my husband and I vacation, it always includes hiking.

I met my husband when we were both in the wine business. Fortunately for us both, he still works in that industry, so our cellar stays amply stocked. If you invite us to dinner, ask us to bring wine!

About Dana

I met Amy when she was my real estate agent back in 2009, and one of the first things I told her was that I could never do her job because I did not enjoy sales. She told me that she didn’t view real estate as being about sales but rather as customer service.

That offhanded exchange early in our relationship still frames how I view my professional responsibility today. My ultimate job as an agent is to look out for my client’s best interest, and sometimes that means explaining to someone why I don’t think a particular house is a good investment or recommending that it could be beneficial to wait to sell if possible.

I won’t push you to look at properties beyond what you tell us your budget is, and I’ll be up front and honest with you about your home’s likely value in the current market. I’m a master of paperwork and take pride in a complete and accurate file. I’ll help you interpret the hundreds of pages of disclosure documents and make sure you feel confident that you have the necessary knowledge to make an informed decision.

Before I got my real estate license in 2016, I had a lengthy stint in entertainment technology journalism, where I launched and helmed several publications. Prior occupations include project management at a boutique marketing agency and teaching ninth grade English. I pride myself on my attention to detail and the ability to juggle a lot of balls simultaneously.

When I’m not wrangling my two children or talking my architect husband out of another home improvement project, I enjoy experimenting in the kitchen, going on walks around my Oakland neighborhood, attempting to befriend any cat I see, and tackling a variety of sewing projects. I’m a devoted fan of the NYT Games app, and I always have a book within arm’s reach.
